It is safe to use modded Android application?

 What is Cracked/Modded  apps?

Basically cracked/modded is nothig, it's just changing in codes of original application, we can use premium/paid features of any application in free in modded application.

In simple a mod application is modified version on an original application.

These .apk files have no support from the original developer who made this game or app because these apps are made of using some illegal process.

These modded apps and games have some extra features like unlocked features, extra support, unlimited app game currency etc.

How cracking is done?

Cracking is done by many thrid party aaplication creator, they just do some changing in original coding of application and provide paid features in free.

And mostly mod provider don't do this for free they attached many types of viruses in application and steal important data from your divice.

So cracked/modded apps is safe?

In simple word cracked/modded version of any application is not safe and safe maybe, it's depend on which modded group, company and site is made this mode application, basically modded application is safe but most of the modded appication have many types of viruses.

And most of the modded applications want many permission like call, location etc. 

I explain you in example:- you download a modded game from any site but this game is required call permission, location, sms service etc. but in reality this permission is not important for play this game but they want all this permission to play game.

When these maliciously modified apps are used in someone’s phone, then they become victim of malware attacks.

How to be safe from modded application?

If you don't have enough money for purchase a premium version of any applicaion, so you can go for modded applications,

• Download modded application from trusted site.
• Don't give any permission which is not important for application.
